Another run where my garmin died part way through and I had to guess on the distance.  I was aiming for 7 and ended up a little over.  My pace was pretty good until the garmin died (3.8 miles at about 8:40 pace).  I doubt that I went faster after the garmin died, but I don't think I was much slower.  It was windy heading east, and I felt like I headed east for most of the run :)

Nice run. I had an out-and-back that was uphill both ways with a constant headwind too. It happens...oh yes it can.

I'm lucky in that the only obstacle I have is the wind here in corn country. You get the double whammy with the wind and the hills.
