So far I have not been successful in my quest for morning runs.  I went to bed late on Sunday and then had a fitful night sleep, so when the alarm went off, I said no thanks.

Instead I went for a later run, after dinner.  Just an easy 6.  It's a little chillier here, but I think it will be warmer for the rest of the week.  Now it's Tuesday and I didn't do my morning run again.  Hopefully I can get on track for the rest of this week.  I don't know, though.  Sleep has been bad lately.

But, on the plus side, my husband's job is secure for next year.  That's a relief from a few solid months of stressing out about it.

We can't all be Carolyn. I've decided that morning runs just aren't in the plan for me. I stay up way toooooo late every night (like 1am-2am) and don't want to give up an extra hour of sleep (getting up at 5am vs 6am) in order to run. I run after work when it is hot as all get out and I whine and complain the whole time!

I can't get up in the morning for a damn either. I always have intentions of a morning run, but it hasn't happened lately.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!

Sometimes you just have to be flexible about what time you go running and go by feel. Nice job getting the miles in!

And congratulations on your husband's job security. Economic times have been tough lately!

Miles are miles, I'm told. Way to get 'er done anyway. I'm not looking forward to re-learning the morning routine in a week or two.

It's not me, KP. You saw what time the Quiet Pirate ran today. She's the crazy morning runner now.

I run in the morning because that's the only time that works with my schedule. Everyone's different and you have to find what works for you. And miles are miles, no matter the time of day.

Congratulations on your husband's job security. I know that stress well. It looks like my husband is going to be moved from the high school to an elementary school next year.

Morning running can be tough sometimes. I am glad you husband's job is secure next year, you must feel a lot of relief. Great job getting the six miles in yesterday.
