Sat out in the 45 degrees, 30 mph wind for 3 hours as the head timer for a home track meet that I forgot I had signed up to work.  Surely that counts for some kind of exercise?

I have been so distracted lately.  In a perfect world I would have a clean house today, but that obviously didn't happen.  I would also have cross trained, but as soon as my butt touched the couch, it was all over for the night.  I fell asleep snuggling with my boys.  They stayed awake till dad came home at 9:30.  It was a late night for him at work, too.

45 degrees and 30 mph winds for 3 hours. Yikes. That certainly counts for something, but I'm not sure what.

Snuggling with your boys was probably choosing the good part (think Mary and Martha).

Hum . . 3 hours in the cold wind timing races will definitely buildup mental stamina! I wouldn't worry about the house - you were probably cleaning triple overtime anyway with all that company you had last weekend! Enjoy snuggling with your young boys - that's one thing I miss now that my kids are older.

I wish I could live in a perfect world as well. There just isn't time to get everything done in one day is there. But the good part is there is always tomorrow for a run. 3 hours in cold weather does not sound fun.
