It's shaping up to be the same day as yesterday, although it doesn't seem as humid. The run was better than yesterday.  I think it's because I slept better.  We turned on our air conditioner, which I hate.  Because of Caleb's allergies and breathing, once we turn it on, it should really stay on for the summer so the house is sealed against all the crap he's allergic to.

My whole family is not feeling great, including me.  But I know mine is allergies so hopefully some claritin will help.

We turned our air on quite a while ago! Last year I held out a lot longer but this year I am a wimp! I hope Caleb's allergies are not too big of a problem this year. I hope you all feel better soon!

April, I just hate the expense, and I was holding out because the weather has varied so much lately. But Sat. and Sun. night one of the kids was up about every hour because of the heat and of course my husband can sleep through that :). After sweating through 2 nights like that, my resolve broke.

i can't believe you held out until the last week of may! mine has been on for nearly 2 months. we did have a cold spell in early may where i had to turn the heat back on though...

I guess now I don't feel so bad, but I bet your weather has been more unbearable, KP. This is the first time so far this year we've had a string of consistent 90+ days.

We turned our air conditioner on last week for one night because it was so hot and not cooling off outside. Good job on your run, especially in the heat.

There must be something about kids named Caleb. Mine doesn't really seem to have seasonal allergies now, but when he was little, he had spots every time we turned around.

I hope you all feel better soon.

I wish he would outgrow it. My Caleb had eczema from the time he was born and it was ridiculous until it was medicated at about 6 months. I blame it on the pale skin and my husband's side of the family. Eczema, allergies, asthma go together quite frequently I think.

And really, I think it comes from my side of the family.

Hope y'all are over the hump soon with the allergies, they really put a cramp on life. I think our AC has been on for a couple months too, so don't feel bad!
