Is it sad that I can't remember if I ran on Saturday or not?

This is back to school week, and it has already brought some stress.  However, I think it is going to be a good year.

It was only slightly cooler (mid 80s) for the run today (I ran before dinner, just so I can get some work done this evening), but not a lot of humidity, so it was not bad.  Just an easy 4.

Yesterday I was walking into Walmart and made eye contact with a guy walking out the door.  When I was getting my cart, I heard him ask me a question, but couldn't hear what he was asking because of the blowers over the entrance doors, so I had to turn around.  He asked me if I run, and when I said yes, he said he could tell because of my legs.  At least I think that's what he said, because it was loud in that area.

Sounds like it was a creepy exchange, but it was really more awkward than anything else.  He wasn't trying to flirt or anything.  He was very sincere.  So I just smiled and walked into the store.  But at least I look like a runner, anyway.

Um, Tracy, that sounds like a compliment to me!!! I bet he noticed you walking really fast, too! Good luck with your back to school planning, and I hope things go smoothly for your family's return to school as well.

Yeah I always go up to random women and compliment their legs. What's the problem?

Good luck this school year. As a kid I always loved the first week of school and hated the other 40 (or however many there are). Hopefully it's the other way around for teachers!

Good luck with the new school year. My daughter started yesterday. She is sooo excited! She came over just so she could show us her official grade book.

Nice compliment from the Wal-Mart guy. :)

Strange things always seem to happen at wal-marts. I'd take it as a compliment though!

The only thing good about going back to school was all the new school supplies. I can hang out in a Staples forever.
