I know I missed a logging a few runs, but wanted to get this race logged.  I'm really late to logging, but I couldn't find my watch.

I ran this race exactly according to plan, maybe better than I planned even.  I ran with a former student.  He hadn't trained well, which was perfect for me.  He and I started slow and ran together until close to mile 10.  Somewhere in Meadowbrook Park he waved me on.  After that I ran the fastest part of my race thanks to an annoying but motivating pack of guys.  They were the type that when all said and done ran about 15 miles with all the weaving they did to give out high fives.  Really, I just didn't want to get beat by them, and I didn't.  I thanked them in the end.

Splits were 9:03, 8:50, 8:44, 8:48, 8:53, 8:49, 8:59, 8:47, 8:46, 8:57, 8:10, 8:29, 8:08, and then whatever into the finish.  As is always the case, my watch was a little off the mile markers.

Now I'm doing 22 Minute Hard Corps.  It's good so far, but (dare I say) too easy so far.  I'd like to add in running, but right now I'm short on time.  Spring sports are winding down, but we're in the May grind for school, so there's been a lot of nights that I haven't gotten in the workout till 8.  Working out in the morning wouldn't make it any easier, so I haven't been motivated to make that move.

A belated "Way to go!" for you. That's great.
