I only hobbled for 1/2 mile today, but my foot still didn't feel normal until about 1.5 miles in.  Nothing really remarkable at all about this run.

Avg. pace:  9:18.  About 50 degrees, so a little chillier than yesterday, but still perfect for t-shirt and shorts.

50 degrees is my absolute favorite running temperature! Everything else is too hot or too cold in some way.

Great job! Was it easier to wake up this morning? I think 50 is about perfect.

I agree that 50 degrees is the perfect temperature for running.

Have you tried KT tape for your PF? I've found that it helps.

I hate the hobbling start, but it seems like it's happenning more and more these days. Nice job keeping the morning routine going.

Good job getting in those early morning miles! There was quite a discussion about treating PF on Cocarolyn's blog on 4/3/2010 and on Marathon Dreamer's blog on 4/11/2010. You might want to research the "Strassburg Sock" (http://www.thesock.com/howitworks.html) - it keeps the plantar fascia in a slightly stretched position at night when you are sleeping. Without it your fascia starts to heal in a "shortened" position, then re-tears when you first get out of bed in the morning. Taping helped me immensely as well. Hope it feels better soon!
