I did manage to run 6 days this week, but my mileage is pitiful.

Ran a couple miles by myself, then found the girls and ran with them during the rest of their warm up.  And then it was only a little running here and there during the race.  Then nothing.  I went home with hubby and kids, who were there cheering.

The race itself sorta sucked.  My girls team suffered an implosion of sorts but still managed to take 3rd place.  My first 3 girls did okay, but then I had to depend on my 7th runner and 3 jv girls.  The boys team was lackluster, except for my top runner.  I think these kids had homecoming on the brain.  We have a rough week with back to back races, but then a free weekend.

Congratulations on 6 days running. I'm sorry the team didn't do as well as you would have liked. Homecoming will do that to a teenage brain.

Great job in getting in 6 days!

We had a lot of homecomers come into the restaurant last night...I can't believe their mothers let them wear some of the stuff they were wearing...SHORT! kids these days! LOL
