Another morning run.  I was up about 1/2 hour before my alarm--couldn't go back to sleep and couldn't get up.  We'll see how long this early morning crap lasts :)

Then my garmin for whatever reason will not turn on (it was charging since my run yesterday) so now I have to do some trouble shooting if I have time.  I'm pretty sure I was slow, but whatever.  I'm in recovery mode anyway.

My foot was okay today, no hobbling, but a little sore.  You guys are probably right.  I should try something for it, as opposed to the nothing that I do right now.  I'm going to start by taping it.  If I can drag myself to a sporting goods store (Walmart doesn't carry KT tape and nothing else is really that convenient) I'll try that today.

Wow you get out early to run! I used regular white athlete adhesive tape - about 1" to 1.5" wide, and it worked great.

Yeah. I guess I don't have to be picky about the brand. I just wanted to try KT tape because I've heard so much about it. I did just look up the price and balked a little bit. Walmart and cheaper tape IS more convenient.

I've been hearing a lot about KT tape as well! Guess you have to figure out when you can use low tech and when you need to high tech. Read the taping instructions April and I posted on marathon dreamer's blog last month - it might help. Good luck with it - PF is no fun!

I buy KT tape at Sports Authority. I hope your foot gets feeling better and your mornings improve.

I think the tape should help! It usually works for me. Good luck finding it.

I hate the 1/2-hour-before-alarm-wakeup. You can never get back to sleep after looking at the clock can you? Glad to hear the hobbling has decreased.

Tracy I don't know where it is but check the discussion forum and google how to reset the garmin--my garmin did this too and it is an easy fix I just can't remember. If I find the link I'll post it.

April--I figured it out already! Thanks though!
