Worst run ever.  I went out to run for 2 and Coach Harris shamed me into running more.  As I passed our starting point I really wanted to quit, but allowed myself to be pulled for about another mile.  I'm still guessing at the distance (still in Michigan).

I had to stop and walk at the end, otherwise I would've pooped myself.  No wonder I felt like crap (pun intended).

Kids, I know you've been there before.  Well so have I.  Not the first time that's happened.  Definitely not the last.

Um, Coach, yeahhhh... you're fine. Stop your pretend-fake-"ooh, I'm bad at running"-ness. Because that's laaaame. You're awesome. And you'll beat me at the Fourth. WHEEE!

Welcome to the blog. I think I've figured out the Champaign,IL blogger flood mystery.

Regarding having to walk for a reason unrelated to fitness, I had to do this today and yesterday as well :-)

Wasn't sure where to put this comment--I didn't know if I could comment to your comment!

I stumbled onto your site and figured I'd use it for myself. Then I got to thinking about my runners and thought I'd experiment with them. It's so hard to keep track of them over the summer! I hope it's okay!

The right place to respond to a comment is where the original comment was posted. That way it does not appear out of context and others can follow the discussion. I have moved your comment to where it is supposed to be.

It is great that your runners are on the blog. This is what this site is for - to help runners monitor their own and each others training and get feedback. Please encourage other coaches and individual runners to get on the blog as well.

Thanks! I read that after I already posted. I'm still learning about the site. I think this site is great--I'm glad I found it. Thanks for what you do! I love the encouragement I get from this!
