Lots of snow and wind.  Last night coming back from class I was only able to drive 40 on the interstate.

I decided that before class I'd use the gazelle for a while (enough for 6 cross training miles) and then try to maybe get outside after class--maybe since it's Saturday people will shovel.  If it's still messy I'll do some more inside.

Okay, you're all going to laugh at me.  Right after class my husband and I did a trade off (he had to go supervise a basketball game) so I didn't get outside.  I planned on doing another hour on the Gazelle, and instead I stayed on it for the entire Illini game.

This game was so exciting, I seriously don't think I'm going to be able to go to bed.  They looked great.  Won 78-73 against #5 Michigan State.  I was crapping my pants because it was a close one.  I was afraid to stop working out because I'm superstitious and I was afraid that they would start playing badly.

I know that's lame, but I'm glad they won.  And I was working it pretty hard because I was so pumped :)

YUCK!--I had to run in the middle of the street for most of my run. I almost fell on a patch of snow so I learned my lesson after that!

Also it is snow ball snow! So fun! I got to throw some at my doggies post run!

I'm glad you have the gazelle for days like this.

Let's here it for the Fighting Illini!

I myself watched bits of the Utah Jazz/Denver Nuggets game tonight. And though I live in Denver, I'm more of a Jazz fan. Last I checked, the Jazz were winning, but I don't think it's over yet.

Wow you are awesome for doing 15 on the gazelle! So cool!

Great workout! What a long time to be on the gazelle. I hope you can get outside sometime soon. I always enjoy running outside better than inside.

Wow 15 miles on the Gazelle! That is some stamina--funny that you watched the whole game and worked it!

You guys are being hammered with the weather. I wonder if it is coming our way??? We could use some snow, but it sounds miserable.

I was reading April's blog and saw that your son is named ELI. I have an ELI (he is almost 10) and I just love that name!!!

Thanks all, for the comments. I didn't really plan on going that long--it would have been nice to get outside, especially since the weather's getting bad again.

Kelli, as far as I'm concerned, you can have our snow! We're supposed to be getting 4-8 inches tonight/tomorrow. The name Eli is the best! Nice, strong, biblical...so is the name Caleb (our other son) who shares the same name as one of Carolyn's boys.

Great minds think alike!!

How funny, we debated on the name Caleb but it is my husband's cousins name and he decided we should not steal it from him. i dunno why he cared, we never see him and I doubt he will ever have kids!!!

My husband fought me on the name ELI big time, then he was born and my husband said, "You are right. He is Eli!" Mom's know these things!!!

I want some snow or spring, I just wish the weather would make up its mind!!! Have fun shoveling out!
