I run with God. I use my running time to contemplate, to pray and to listen for His call. I'm married to a non-runner, but a supportive one, and we have four children.

Decelerator. I got ten minutes in when Eli came down asking questions about forever. Pretty soon he was sobbing. I think they were talking about heaven at school. He's been asking about that a lot lately. So we chatted for a while till he was smiling again. Then I got back to the workout.

Ha ha. I think it was a fear of (other people)dying kind of deal, but I'm still really not sure. It was so out of the blue.

That brings back memories - my dad is an atheist and so when I was a kid and was scared about dying, I asked him what happens when you die. He was like, "nothing... your body just starts rotting away." So comforting. I wasn't smiling after those chats.
